Assistant Professor, IIT Indore

Dr. Swaminathan joined IIT Indore as an Assistant Professor after working as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore. Earlier, he has completed his PhD from IIT Kharagpur. His current research focus is on Efficient Design of Space-Air-Ground Integrated Networks (SAGIN) with Hybrid Optical-RF Wireless Communications, Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) Ultraviolet (UV) Optical Wireless Communication, Development of Novel Algorithms for Blind Parameter Estimation of Forward Error Correcting Codes and Interleavers. In addition, his research interests include but not limited to Index modulation techniques for Next-Generation Wireless Communications, Intelligent Reflecting Surface-based Wireless Communications, Energy Harvesting Schemes for Integrated Optical-RF Networks, Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) techniques, Machine Learning for Communication Systems/Wireless Communications, etc.
